Praise You LORD...

You knew me before I was formed. You birthed me before I was even a glisten in my parent's eyes. You taught me to crawl, to sit up, to walk, to talk, to suckle my mother's breasts, and to eat as I grew older. You stood by my side when I fell and picked me up, dusted me off and said. "Try again my child." You always had confidence in me. After all You made me and You don't make no junk. You taught me to reach for the stars; they were made for my enjoyment. You let me live my life, taught me to be adventuresome and let me make my own mistakes to learn and to become that much stronger. You brought me adversities and You brought me great joys and rewards. You were always there when I excelled and You were there when I faltered yet You have loved me through it all. You have gifted me with a variety of creative talents and the ability to share them. You paved the way for many opportunities others may never experience; the opportunity to taste, smell and experience the wonders of other cultures and the beauty of other lands. You gifted me with two beautiful children and three sweet grandchildren. It is with awe that I thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for the many seasons of my life; the gifts you have bestowed within me; the thoughts in the attics of my mind. How truly You must love me. How marvelous Your forgiveness and how glorious is Your love. Prepare me for what You have in store, prepare my mind, prepare my body, prepare my spirit. Guide me on my journey through the next seasons of my life. Mold me, make me fully presentable as a gift from You. I praise You Father. I adore You. I thank You, LORD. Note: This prayer can be adapted for yourself. Simply exchange what does not apply to you and input what does apply to you. Example, you may not have children or grandchildren.
