Prayer for the City of New Orleans

Please take time out each day to pray for the recovery and better preparation for the future. Our nation needs to take heed and start putting priorities in proper order. The news is calling this the worst natural disaster on American soil in American history, worst than the 1900 hurricane that destroyed Galveston Island. The damages in the New Orleans areas affect not only lives but our nations economy too. Keep in mind ALL the victims to include Mississippi and Alabama too.
May Jehovah Rapha heal the people affected by this devastating hurricane, be they actual victims or co survivors. May Jehovah Jireh provide ALL of the provisions needed to rebuild this city to include rebuilding the lives that have been damaged and scarred from this disaster. May Jehovah-tsidkenu, our Righteousness, seek out the causes for not being prepared enough and rectify them. May Jehovah-rohi, our Shepherd, watch over our governing bodies as they proceed to help the city of New Orleans and her peoples. Please, El Shaddai, bring about a swift rebuilding to the damaged areas of Mississippi, Alabama and other areas of Louisiana that suffered from this tragedy. In precious Jesus' name, Amen and Amen.
