Money Can't and Money Won't

animated graphic of a money walking

Money....... Money can't buy happiness. Money won't buy self esteem. You can take money to bed with you, but it won't satisfy you like a human can. You can take money with you on a trip, but it won't share the drive with you. You can talk to money, but it won't carry on a conversation with you. You can spend money and not be satisfied, and money won't care. You can ignore money and become a pauper, money could care less. You can invest money wisely or poorly, either way, money won't care. You have to make right choices with money, money won't do it for you. You can invest wisely and make a fortune, but that money won't give you self esteem. You can waste your life, talents, goals and dreams, money could care less. You can eat paper money, it will give you an upset stomach or worse yet, make you constipated. You can swallow quarters, nickels, dimes, pennies, money will come out the other end smelling like dung. You can worship money, place it on a pedestal, but it will NEVER give the same love back to you. You can place money above love, above friendships, money won't care. Prostituting oneself for money, a sad commentary on one's life, a sad legacy to leave for one's children. You can burn money, money won't feel a thing. You can burn a friendship, and lose your soul. :-(( Copyright © 2001 Carolyn B. Hebert AKA Moonlightflower

People who place money before family and friends are treating their family and friends worse than dirt. You cannot put a price on a human nor on a soul. However, you can let money replace them. But is it really worth it? You cannot serve two masters. You either choose God or you choose the devil. Matthew - 16:25 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
