Twisted Tree at Bonsai Pipeline Haleiwa, Hawaii 2007

Looking Up! Our lives can become twisted by winds of doctrines. But there is hope if our eyes are focused on God and we keep looking up! Copyright Carolyn Bigler Hebert 2009 An added side note from me: Our thoughts must be on the vertical plane, high and lifted up toward heaven, not on the horizontal plane, of the world. We live in the world but are to not be of the world. Maintain the correct focus. Eye glasses are not needed to keep the correct perspective on anything. The devil comes to us as an angel of light. Be careful not to be deceived by him. Keep Looking Up. Romans, chapter 12:2 reads: "Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect." USCCB - Catholic Bible Copyright © Carolyn Bigler Hebert 05-2017 The poem Looking Up was written for this tree photo.

Twisted Tree at Bonsai Pipeline

These photo were taken with a refurbished Kodak Z-760 camera with only 6 pixels. We had the picture framed as a 20 inch x 30 inch photo and hung it on the wall in our breakfast room along with four other photos of this beach, two on each side. The photos taken with my Nikon DSLR cameras can be printed as large as 60 inches wide. The pixels do not mean what most people believe. The pixel count tells you how large a photo can be printed without distorting the image. I took this picture by shooting from the hip. In other words I did not aim the camera in the normal fashion but held it by my left hip and aimed upwards. This was the result.
